Thinking About Thinking
The course starts with an introductory session which aims to unlock the team spirit and inspire learning and development. You will participate in a fun challenge that is designed to get you thinking about how you think! As you explore your creative brain, you will discover what makes you ‘tick’ and identify your personal creative thinking style
Creative Insight
This session focuses on identifying the need for creativity and gives the delegates a framework for defining the creative brief. Using the whole brain creative model, you will design the creative process to direct the project.
Creative Ideation
During this session, you will learn how to activate your personal creative ‘hot buttons’ using a toolkit of creative thinking techniques, each designed to tap into your unique creative brainpower. Using these thinking tools, you will generate creative new ideas and solutions in response to the creative brief. This will involve working in small groups and individually. You will also learn how to evaluate ideas in order to select the best ideas to progress.
Communicating Ideas
The aim of this session is to explore how to successfully present your ideas to others. You will learn tools and techniques to 'sell' your ideas to others and prepare a ‘pitch’ presentation to present to the group.
Innovation
This session focuses on how to progress an idea from concept to implementation. You will learn a practical 6-step innovation process to transform an idea into a practical business initiative. You will use a simple tool to physically map out the idea as a blueprint for its implementation.
Applied Creativity
The course concludes with a summary session during which delegates create a personal storyboard to show how they will apply the key insights and learning’s from the course within the work environment |
