Our Innovation Audit is used to assess the level of creativity and innovation within organisations. The audit measures the four key elements of innovation: Strategy, Culture, Process and People and consists of a comprehensive analysis of the performance in all four areas.

Each audit consists of at least one on-site visit depending on the audit package selected. During the visit(s), The Thinking Business conducts informal interviews and discussions with a sample of employees from across the organisation (as identified by the client). The entire audit process is designed to be simple and unobtrusive so as not to interfere with the day-to-day business activities within the client organisation. The audit provides both quantitative and qualitative data which are presented to the client in the form of a detailed report and recommendations.

We offer three audit packages each representing different levels of intervention.

The Audit packages available are:

Gold Audit – this is the full package and includes three audits – pre-audit (two day on-site visit), mid-audit (one day on-site visit) and post-audit (one day on-site visit). The pre-audit provides a base-line score against which to measure any on-going initiatives in the area of creativity and innovation. The gold package also includes a detailed report containing the innovation score, analysis and a recommendation on how to develop and sustain a culture of innovation.

Silver Audit – this consists of the pre and post-audits plus the detailed report, analysis and recommendations.

We can deliver the Audit as an independent activity or you can engage us to deliver the full 'Thinking Business' programme which will include the initiatives in all four areas depending on the results of the Audit.
